Mitosis Client

Mitosis Client is the desktop app that allows ArtBnkr to fully leverage it's power on your local machine.  It is required to be running and the user to be logged in for all features to be available.

It connects to a Mitosis Server which allows complete file and project management, video streaming and file previews.

Mitosis Client is used for:
    1. File transfer and syncronisation between the server and the client. (user's machine)
    2. Creating New DCC Work files in specific folder locations.
    3. Path reconstruction to allow users to have a local fragment of a full project's filesystem. 
    4. Quick view of server status.
    5. Process monitoring.
    6. Specific DCC Selection and launching.
    7. Configuration Tools.
    8. Troubleshooting tools.

Mitosis Client also contains the :ref:`artist-toolkit`, a collection of tools developed to facilitate creative work across multiple DCCs using a unified interface.
